We use only the softest closed-foam brushes, the gentlest biodegradable soaps, and the highest quality ceramic coatings and waxes to safely keep your vehicle immaculately clean and shining like brand new. We do offer a true touchless wash — the first of its kind in Naperville!
Our low-profile conveyor belt technology, which is easy to maneuver onto, also provides a safe, quick, and easy wash experience for you and your vehicle. In addition, we offer FREE self-serve vacuums that will leave your vehicle sparkling clean, both inside and out.

What is the customer experience like at The Flow?
Expect a greeting from a trained attendant at the pay station, who will guide you through the wash selection and payment process. Next you'll pull forward into the tunnel, where another trained attendant guides you onto the belt.
Place your vehicle in Neutral when the attendant asks, take your foot off the brake pedal, take your hands off the wheel, and turn off automatic wipers.
Mild soaps and gentle soft closed-foam brushes clean the outside of your vehicle. A drying agent, spot-free rinse and dryers leave the car mostly dry. The automatic wash takes under five minutes, and free self-serve vacuums are available after the tunnel.
Do I stay in the car?
Yes. You stay in your vehicle for the entire trip through the tunnel.
Is your car wash touchless?
Yes. Tell the attendant at the pay station that you want the touchless wash. The equipment is retracted for your vehicle before it enters the tunnel.
Do you do interior vehicle cleaning?
The Flow is an express exterior car wash, so the team does not provide interior cleaning. Team members can assist elderly or disabled customers with vacuuming; ask an attendant for help.
Free self-service stalls have high-power vacuums. The stalls furthest from the building are 10 feet extra-wide for larger vehicles.
Are your cleaning products eco-friendly?
Yes. All cleaning agents used at The Flow are fully biodegradable and safe for the vehicle and the environment.
How much water is saved using your wash?
A driveway wash can use more than 100 gallons of water. The Flow uses less than 16 gallons, and its express wash uses 15 gallons per vehicle.
V-traps beneath the belt capture grease, oils and heavy particles before wastewater enters the sanitary sewer. Water-efficient high-pressure nozzles and pumps also reduce freshwater use.
Will the vehicle be hand-dried?
No. The drying agent and dryers are designed to leave the vehicle mostly dry. Drying towels and other car-care products are available in the vending machine, or you may bring your own towel.
You can pull into the free vacuum area to give the vehicle more attention. Any remaining water drops are intended to dry spot-free.
Can you wash any size vehicle?
The Flow can wash most passenger vehicles. If you have any concerns, ask an attendant to check your vehicle before its first wash.
A vehicle cannot be washed if it has any of these conditions:
- Ground clearance less than 2.5 inches
- Height greater than 7 feet 2 inches
- Excessive mud or rust
- An open pickup bed containing excessive debris or loose materials
- An extended-height conversion or work van over the height limit
- Doubled or dually rear tires with an overall width greater than 92 inches
- Tripod-style mirrors that cannot fold in
- A fuel-transfer tank with a protruding hose or fill nozzle
- An attached rooftop cargo box that exceeds the height limit
- Attached ladders or an oversized ladder rack
- Spike lug nuts
- Aftermarket wheel fenders that do not appropriately cover the tires
- Missing fenders or body panels, such as on some tow trucks or dump trucks
Talk with an attendant first if the vehicle has any of these conditions:
- Pre-existing damage, including peeling paint, excessive rust or loose molding
- A crack in the windshield or other glass
- Objects attached to the antenna
- An antenna that cannot be lowered or removed
- A bike rack or ski rack
- An aftermarket spoiler or racing fin
- Aftermarket glued-on components
- Loose or damaged mirrors
